WINTERTHRALL To Master Debut Album This Week

WINTERTHRALL, the Orange County, California-based doom/death metal project featuring Rob Alaniz (NOCTUARY, ex-RISE, EVILDEAD),Steve Nelson (NOCTUARY),and Jeremy Peto (ex-MORGION),are scheduled to sequence and master their full-length debut, tentatively titled "Nightmares for the Sleepless", this week. The CD was recorded at Shiva Industries Studio in Santa Ana, CA with Sir-Loin John Haddad at the helm and will feature 10 to 12 tracks, including "The Audient Void", "Blood From A Broken Wing", "Standing In The Light Of A Failing Sun", "Edifice Of Betrayal", "Cycles Of The Flesh", "In Frozen Apathy", "Malevolence", and "By The Will Of The Night", plus re-worked versions of the demo tracks "The Nightmare Passages", "Dreams To Dust", "...And The Meek Shall Inherit Nothing", and "Autumn Caskets". The band also recorded two covers (BRUTAL TRUTH and CARCASS) which may or may not end up on the CD as bonus tracks. "We may decide to cut out the middleman altogether and self-release this thing or preferably license to a label," the band write on their web site.
